White Mafia Cocktail

White Mafia Cocktail

Posted 2015-01-01 by Lindsay Lawfollow
This is a variant of a classic a White Russian cocktail. Instead of being made with Kahlua, it's made with Frangelico, an Italian hazelnut liqueur. I also swap vodka for vanilla vodka - it gives a taste like a vanilla nut latte.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: None
Makes: 1 serving

Ingredients
Old-fashioned glass (a short tumbler)
3 or 4 ice cubes
1 shot vanilla vodka
1 shot Frangelico liqueur
1 shot milk or half and half

Method
  • Put 3 or 4 ice cubes in the bottom of a short tumbler, also known as an old-fashioned glass.

  • Using a shot glass, measure one shot of vanilla vodka and pour it over the ice.

  • Using the same shot glass, measure one shot of Frangelico and pour it over the ice and vodka.

  • Finally, measure a shot of milk and pour it over the liqueur and ice.

  • A White Russian should not be shaken, simply built up over the ice, so it is now ready to serve.
