Wholemeal Flatbread
This is a simple flatbread recipe. Easy to make, it goes well with soup or dip. Here are some of my
bread making tips . Based on the brands I used each flatbread should be about 135 calories.
Preparation Time: 1 hour 30 minutes
Cooking Time: 6 minutes
Makes: 12 servings
Ingredients
500g wholemeal bread flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp fast action yeast
1 tbsp mixed dried herbs
1 tbsp soya milk
300ml water
Method
Mix the flour, salt and yeast together.
Gradually add the water to form a dough.
Prove the dough for about an hour.
Divide the dough into twelve and roll out into flats.
Grill the flatbread for three minutes on each side.
Brush the flatbreads with milk and sprinkle over the dried herbs.
